1. Who we are

Avtivka is a diary app for your car. It is developed by, and your data is the responsibility of, [legal entity name], [address] (“we”).

2. What data we collect

Account data: your email and name, if you entered it. If you sign in with Google or Apple, that service passes them to us; we never get its password.

What you enter yourself: cars, mileage, fill-ups, service and expenses, plans, reminders, notes, photos and receipt photos.

Technical data: device model, system and app version, crash reports. We need them to fix bugs.

3. Why

To keep your records and sync them between devices, to send the reminders you set up and to count your expense statistics. We don’t use your records for advertising.

4. Where and how long we keep it

The data lives on servers in the European Union and is transferred encrypted. We keep it while you have an account. After you delete the account, the data leaves the app at once and the backups within 30 days.

5. Who we share it with

Only contractors the app can’t work without: hosting in the EU, notification delivery, crash analysis. They process data only on our instructions.

If you share a car, its members see its records. We disclose data to anyone else only when the law requires it.

6. Recognition of photos and documents

If you have agreed to recognition, the photos and PDFs you send (receipts, invoices, registration certificates, policies, driving licences, medical certificates and other documents) are passed to a third-party automatic recognition service. It processes them only to return the data that fills in the form, and doesn’t use them to train models.

From a document we copy into the fields only what the entry needs: the make, model, number plate, VIN, amounts and invoice lines, the document type, its number, validity dates and driving licence categories. We don’t take the name, address, date and place of birth, tax number or medical details from the document, even though they are visible in the photo.

A driver’s medical certificate contains health information. By sending it for recognition, you agree to the recognition service processing this information. Without recognition, the document can be added by hand.

Photos and files are kept where you added them (the car’s gallery, a diary entry, documents) and are deleted together with them. Photos sent for recognition and not saved are deleted automatically within two days. The recognition service keeps the files it receives for no longer than [period].

7. Your rights

You can view, correct or delete your data at any time: Profile has “Delete account”. Notifications are turned off in the settings. If you think we violated your rights, you can complain to the data protection authority.

8. Children

Avtivka is made for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data of children under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We’ll warn you in the app ahead of significant changes. The date of the last update is at the top of the page.
